• Master of Arts in Elementary Math from Western Govenors University
• Bachelor of Science in Elemntary Education w/ a Middle School Endorsement in Science from Eastern Illinois University

About me:

I have been married to my husband, Ryan since 2009. We have 2 sons, Landon & Rylan. I enjoy house projects, planting and having fun with my family. I love nature, science, and problem solving. I enjoy promoting the growth mindset in my students. If you are thinking, you are learning! 

S.T.E.M. is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.  We will do a lot of hands on activities in the classroom as well as in the labs. We cover 5 main categories; Experimental Design, Geometry, Biomedical Engineering, Probability and Computer Science.  Some of the exciting projects we will be completing this year are  designing a parachute, designing a helmet, completing a heart valve replacement project, designing a blueprint for a house and creating a video game!
