Course Digital Resources - What we will be using, how, and why:
To support our curriculum the following digital resources will be utilized:
- Google Classroom - this will be used by students to manage coursework and receive announcement notifications of what is to be worked on each day.
- Nearpod for lesson delivery - this will be used for remote learners to learn the material and shorter versions will be available for in-person students to preview what is coming so they are ready for class.
- Desmos for interactive activities - this is a resource designed by math teachers for teachers to create/use interactive activities. We will use Desmos in the classroom to support current learning objectives and may assign a Desmos activity from time to time for students to dive deeper for conceptual understanding at home.
- GoFormative for assessment - this website will be used for collection of work done on worksheets provided in class or digitally and also for all assessments in the course.
