Head Coach Eric Regez will be starting his 33rd season at the helm of the Herscher Tigers Baseball Program in the spring of 2025. He was named as the Kankakee Daily Journal 2018 Sports CITIZEN OF THE YEAR.

He was inducted into the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in the winter of 2013. During Thirty Seasons, he has guided four squads to the state finals (1995, 1999, 2012 and 2018) in Springfield and Peoria culminating in the 1999 Class A State Championship. He was honored by the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) as their 1999 Class A Coach of the Year. He also was named as the 1999, 2007, 2012 and 2018 area coach of the year. Coach Regez also was honored in 2011 as the IHSBCA recipient of the prestigious President's Award. This is one of the Association's highest honors. He was selected as the Interstate 8 South Coach of the Year for 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. Another large honor saw Coach Regez win the Pitch and Hit Club 1999 Illinois Class A Coach of the Year. His overall record is 783-330-4, which includes nine River Valley Conference Championships and nine Interstate 8 Conference Championships. The Tigers won 88 Straight Conference Games in the River Valley at one point. Herscher played in the Regional Title Game in 25 consecutive seasons between 1995 and 2020, winning 18 of those contests including 10 in a row and were able to win another Regional Title in 2024. Herscher won 20 or more games in 24 consecutive seasons dating back to 1995 and then did so again in 2024. His teams have won 30 plus games in eight seasons and have also gained three Kankakee Area High School Summer Championships. Coach Regez has led three victorious squads in Kankakee Area High School All Star Showcase games. In 1999, He also was selected to direct an All-State team for the Illinois Coaches Association game played in Peoria. Eight of eleven seasons Coach Regez was able to lead the South Squad for the Interstate 8 Senior All Star game. Eric was a member of the Board for the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association for over 25 years.
Sophomore Baseball Head Coach Craig Bisaillon will be starting his 24rd season in the spring of 2024. The sophomore Tigers have won the Interstate 8 South Title Four times. Coach B is definitely no stranger to the HHS Baseball Program. Craig played as a Varsity Tiger in 1995 and 1996 being most known for cracking a dramatic grand slam in the Sectional Championship game during his junior season sending the Tigers to the State Tourney. He currently teaches 4th grade at Herscher Intermediate School. And is the Head 8th Grade coach for the Herscher Limestone Middle School Baseball Program guiding the squad to its first regional and sectional titles in 2022.
Austin Headrick - Varsity Assistant/Frosh Coach
Coach Headrick will begin his third season with the Herscher Baseball Program. His duties include multi tasking as the Varsity 1B coach and handling a number of frosh only games. He also serves as the Head Wrestling Coach in the Winter and the Varsity Football Defensive Coodinator in the Fall for the Tigers.
Dale Hall - Sophomore Assistant
