T goes down as perhaps the most ultra-competitive player of the Coach Regez era. He always knew the team with the most runs on the board wins the game and was willing to do whatever he thought could get his team to complete that mission. His 57 runs scored in 2018 from the leadoff spot is the top mark in HHS Baseball history. He was amongst the best defensive shortstops in school history as well. He showed that trait with 2 dynamite run through, body control plays in the 6th and 7th innings to secure a 2-1 sectional win over Chicago Christian during the 2016 season. His flair for the dramatic was never more on display than when he sent his team to the IHSA State Tourney with a walk off run scoring single in the bottom of the 7th inning during a Super Sectional win over Timothy Christian to cap the 2018 season.

Stu put together one of the most illustrious careers in Herscher Baseball History. He becomes only the 2nd player in the program’s history to record 10 wins on the mound and bash 50+ hits in a single season. His name will be all over the pitching record book including 5th all time in strikeouts and 4th all time in wins. He made himself into one of the best big game pitchers in the Coach Regez era. His 15K, 1-0 shutout masterpiece over Timothy Christian to win the 2018 Super Sectional and advance to State will go down as one of the top pitched games in all of HHS baseball history.

Tyler goes down as one of the top two way players in HHS Baseball history. He was a key contributor for 3 seasons on both the mound and especially at the plate with his hitting prowess. His numbers will be scattered all over the HHS All Time baseball record book. No player was able to single handedly win games in the batters box in crucial situations like Tyler did throughout his fantastic career. He started at 4 positions during his three years which is a true rarity in the Coach Regez era. He provided numerous big hits during his career with none bigger than the solo homer to start the Miracle in Morris part 2 during the 2016 Regional Championship victory over Lincoln Way West in what could be the top “stepping out” win in HHS Baseball History. His complete game masterpiece on the mound at Reed Custer in 2015 will be forever remembered in helping his team to an I8 conference title.

Jeff was always ready to take the ball to the mound and give the Tigers a chance to win. During his career, he pitched in some of the biggest games Herscher would play. His complete game victory at Wilmington during the 2013 season clinched the Interstate 8 Conference title. Jeff threw 2 consecutive shutouts in the 2014 postseason culminating with a victory over McNamara to send the Tigers to the Sweet Sixteen in the 2A IHSA State
